Cosmetic surgery in Bangkok

Experience all that Bangkok can offer at our clinics.

It goes without saying that we spent some time with our surgeons before we decided that we could make an excellent partnership. Wit, patience and a sense of humour are important but these qualities, in tandem with great expertise, experience and education make our surgeon’s popular choices among foreigners seeking cosmetic or dental advice in Thailand.

Your hosts: Annie & David

About Us

Annie and I are your professional friends in Bangkok and we will share our secrets for a successful procedure with you by introducing you to our favourite surgeons.

We will arrange hotel accommodation on your behalf and stay with you while you recover from the surgery. It can be lonely waiting to feel better all alone and you will find it difficult to feed yourself at first or take care of the basic things like shopping etc.

There are so many things that you will not even think about prior to arrival such as acquiring a sim card so that you can keep in touch with people at home.

After years of working with a large selection of surgeons, we believe we have the best list of surgeons available in Thailand. We can’t recommend them enough.

Our clinics are in the heart of the city surrounded by the fascinating street life and ‘high society’ shopping that makes Bangkok special.

Our clinics are ‘one-stop’ Plastic Surgery Centres in Bangkok that offer cosmetic, dermatological, anti-ageing, holistic, and dental services including surgical procedures.

While most people are aware that cosmetic surgery can be less expensive in Thailand they may not be aware of the sophistication, innovation and expertise available here. Price is not the only reason to travel to Thailand for your cosmetic surgery.

FAQ

How do I choose the best surgeon to perform my procedure?

The worldwide web is full of cosmetic surgery organisations vying for your business.
There are websites which review plastic surgeons all over the world. One would imagine the process of selection to be easy. But perhaps there is so much information and more to the point, so many differing opinions that it’s actually quite a task in the 20’s! MCST is not tied to any given surgeon, clinic or hospital. We choose who we recommend to you our clients. If you have seen a surgeon or clinic online and would like more information, we can visit that clinic, talk to that surgeon (if they are unknown to us) and give you our appraisal before you even fly to Thailand. Currently we work with several highly regarded surgeons whose work we have witnessed first-hand. Some of them are better at breast augmentation than others, some specialize in facial surgery or liposuction. We put you face to face with the surgeons we think are best for you. You will consult and choose your surgeon based on professionalism, expertise and price. The choice is always yours, all we do is advise.

Is the total price of the procedure inclusive of hospital stay and follow-up procedures?

Yes, the total price of the procedure will include pre and post-operative hospital/clinic stay plus follow-up appointments, medicines and anesthesia.

What are accepted payment methods?

Thailand is well known for its expanding currency exchange outlets and Bangkok has many bureaus for the exchange of currency. They offer competitive rates and many charge zero fees for the exchange. Banks can also offer currency exchange facilities. Another alternative is to use a credit card. MasterCard and Visa are the most widely accepted credit cards in Thailand, followed by American Express. Traveler’s cheques are also an option. The current rate of interest (exchange rate) is charged and this is a convenient method of payment for surgery. Western ATM cards can be used in Thailand safely and a maximum of 20,000 baht can be withdrawn daily so careful planning is needed to make sure you have enough cash to make your payments. Sometimes your western bank may block your card temporarily when they see unusual withdrawal patterns in Thailand. A combination of these methods and bringing cash with you is probably the most convenient way to handle transactions.

How to activate my phone in Thailand?

The following are the five simple steps you can take to get your Thai SIM card and mobile data plan ready.

  1. The first step is to have your phone unlocked from the service provider before boarding. Once it is opened, your device will be enabled for a Thai SIM card available in different sizes depending on the phone.
  2. The second step is getting a mobile data plan at the airport is probably the best and most convenient option. Your Passport will be required for a SIM card purchase in Thailand as the carriers need to register the SIM with the user’s name and passport number.
  3. The third step is to choose the carrier and mobile data plan. There are three major cell service providers in Thailand: AIS, DTAC, and TrueMove H. These carriers offer a range of pay as you go’ deals with 3G/4G support for short and long-term availability, ranging from daily, weekly, to monthly.
  4. 4th step is adding or “topping up” your mobile credit is an effortless task that can be achieved quickly. Ongoing ‘top-ups’ can even be done at 7/11 stores.
  5. 5th step is to activate the SIM card activation, depending on which device and carrier you are using. Prepaid SIM cards for tourists usually offer 30-day validity after each top-up. You can check your mobile balance and validity via these USSD codes.
  6. An inexpensive alternative is to purchase an inexpensive phone and sim card package in Bangkok to use for the duration of your stay. We can help you to manage all these tasks on your arrival.
What about hotel accommodation after my procedure?

We will arrange hotel accommodation on your behalf and stay with you while you recover from the surgery. It can be lonely waiting to feel better all alone, and you may find it difficult to feed yourself at first or take care of the basic things so we will be on hand to take care of you and ensure your needs are met. Thai nursing staff are extremely diligent, caring and approachable. We aim to take any worries off your hands so that you can focus only on recovery and achieving the best outcome for your surgery. Once you have recovered we can even assist you in planning onward travel in Thailand or beyond.
